Recently upgraded user interface core menu is now on beta. In the future, all products will implement with this core menu as I will phrase out the permission part and some support features in the older core menu API. I believe that someone out there will need it, so there you go. Please test it and report to me for any bugs, design, or improvements. This object is belongs to the group. You might able to change the group settings and test for different groups.
